Fleet and Innova琀椀on
POWERING SAFER, SMARTER SITE OPERATIONS
Here at D Morgan we have designed,
manufactured and assembled our
Solar Cubes in-house, to reduce diesel
generator use and support cleaner,
more e昀케cient site opera琀椀ons.
Each Solar Cube is a compact, self contained unit
昀椀琀琀ed with inverters, lithium ba琀琀eries and a movable
solar array that delivers steady three phase power
for welfare facili琀椀es and charging. Trialled across live
projects, the cubes performed be琀琀er than expected,
genera琀椀ng enough capacity to support electric
vehicle charging and reducing generator run琀椀me by
up to 80 percent during the summer months.
They also improved day to day energy management
through remote monitoring and more e昀케cient
welfare systems, helping teams reduce unnecessary
usage. The strong performance across di昀昀erent site
condi琀椀ons showed the value of a resilient o昀昀 grid
solu琀椀on, with consistent savings on fuel, carbon and
noise. Solar Cubes are now mandatory on every D
Morgan site, suppor琀椀ng lower emissions, reduced
fuel consump琀椀on and more sustainable opera琀椀ons
across the business.

INNOVATION AND WORKING TOGETHER
We con琀椀nue to strengthen our approach to
Zero Harm with the rollout of Safety Shield and
Digital Thumbs Up training across all sites. The
programme reinforces clear communica琀椀on between
operators and pedestrians, supported by AI humanform recogni琀椀on, safe zone awareness and live
demonstra琀椀ons. We have invested heavily in
Safety Shield HFR equipment, ensuring the highest
standards of protec琀椀on and reliability. By working
closely with our clients, supply chain and workforce,
we are building safer and more innova琀椀ve sites
together, the D Morgan Way.
